What did you do in the garden today?

Not in the garden per say, but I'd like to share my potted plants...
Please ignore the mess in the background of these pics.
This is my moon cactus. My friends have named it Cucumber (no idea why). I got it at home depot last weekend, and repotted into this cat pot today. It has these rocks on the bottom, then a bunch of potting soil+peat moss+whatever was in the tiny pot it came in. I also have rocks on the top because I think they look nice. It is a cactus in a cat pot, therefore it is a catctus.

Spider plant!
I've had this spider plant since the beginning of June. It's an offshoot from one of our big spider plants that we've had for years. We cut it off the big one and started it in a glass of water. It was in a giraffe pot for a while, but I moved it to this one. I'm super happy with how big it's gotten. (I painted the pot myself, too! on the other side is the same scene but in the daytime.)

Pothos plant!
This is a baby plant that was clipped off of my science teacher's big ones. Whoever has the biggest in the class at the end of the year wins a prize. It's grown a whole bunch since I've gotten it and I'm really happy with how it's doing. A lot of my classmates have had to replace theirs, but mine is still going strong. There is a blue cup for watering-we put the water in the dirt, and there are drainage holes in the bottom of the red cup. There are rocks in the bottom of the blue cup, and the water drains into them. That way we can pour out excess water. (i'm sure I could have explained that MUCH better, but here we are.) I have a pot all ready for it but have been told not to repot it until there's a new leaf sprouting.

Aloha garden gang!
I have not been doing much in the garden due to our summer... I just get over it. But now it has cooled a few degrees, we have had a few rains and all is well in the world of me.
I did move a box out and planted myself another soursop for the one that died. It is doing well. I also planted banana in another box and have a volunteer papaya growing in my asparagus box. I've been using my asparagus to babysit the littles but now they are more grown and have access to whole garden. Cockerels got in and plowed my tomato starts (I have back ups) and 1/2 my lettuce got eaten but I have the other half, arugula and some more time to plant.
Back to harvesting oranges and starfruit and lots of trimming and mowing.
I hope all are well. I did some back reading but this thread goes so fast it is hard to keep up.

K. all, hope you are all good.

Update: Same friend has named the science plant Rory. No idea why.

Good afternoon gardeners. Went out to water today and the plants weren’t showing any stress. No sprouts from the carrots or lettuce yet but the herbs could use a little trim and the bunnies will love it. We’re supposed to head back up to the high 80s, almost 90 I heard, so all I’m doing this weekend is putting in soil. Will probably take advantage of the warmer temps to whitewash the coop interior and paint the outside. Still have two duck eggs in the incubator, they’re halfway through now and due to hatch on Thanksgiving. Not much else happening. Have a great weekend.
