Question on compost tea. My rabbits are in the chicken run and everything falls to the ground, so i cant really use their poo. Can i make compost tea from the chicken poo instead?

I use chicken poop compost tea all the time- not as strong as direct compost to garden, but it gives nutrients and does not burn the roots.

Recap, last year an idiot tore up my property with a lawn tractor because… Yeah, I don’t know. I can’t get over the cable they somehow hit that holds up the clothesline pole. It’s a thick metal cable, and easy to see.
Anyway, they didn’t rip out all of the rhubarb, but somehow the grass has taken over my remaining patch. Any thoughts on how to attack the grass and dandelions? Is it a hand tools only situation, or is there something easier I can do?

Been out weeding the Asian jasmine- I finally made it to the corner of the house. Hallelujah. Now I can start pulling them up and placing the landscaping bricks around the tree in a circle as I go. Eventually, I will get to the front of the house. Also transplanted some Turks cap- still have a little more to transplant. Need to relocate a rose I planted a few weeks ago- wasn’t thinking clearly.

Morning ya’ll. Went straight from feeding the chickens to weeding and transplanting some Turks Cap. Finally staggered in to get some coffee and peanut butter/ pancake syrup on bread. Just gonna sit here until I can get the energy to bathe and wash my hair. After that, I think a nap is in order.

Last Monday, I had to buy a couple habanero and jalapeno pepper plants because mine from seed are still about half an inch tall. I also bought 5 tomato plants, since a lot of my seeds didn't do didly either. I put them in with the starts in the dog crate to harden off.

Yesterday, I thought that everything was ready for a a full day of filtered sunshine. Well, my plants were, but the purchased ones looked like they'd died when I checked on them this morning. I gave them a bunch of water and said please, and whew! they perked back up.

I'm happy they made it, but surprised at their wimpiness!

We got a (teeeeeeny) bit of rain. Tomorrow, I'll be working in the garden where all the tomatoes, peppers, and melons will be. I need to dig up invading grass and weeds, dig planting holes (and NOT mess up my back!), and water.

I still need to plant beans. Just haven't done that yet.
