What did you do in the garden today?

I feel your pain. My battle with Asian Jasmine is horrendous- but I am making headway. After the next rain( any day now) I can finish up removing the stuff from the side of the house and move to the front
The battle here is thistle. It grows a deep rooted rhizome that spreads. I don't feel like digging down to remove it all so we just keep pulling. The thorns get me every now and then though, especially if the plant grows more than just a few inches before I pull it.

Find a place where you want onions to grow. Like forever, or until you don't want them any more. I have a walking onion bed that will just be for those.

You can call the coop The Eggplant, since it's purple!
Spritz it up- paint hot pink circles outlined in black, or white daisies with yellow centers on it- let your freak flag fly.🤔

Or behr Cadet Blue
or
Fjord Blue
or
Blueberry Frost
Colors in my own house LOL
My coop is grey and white, the outside of the house grey and white with black shutters. Inside- well, I like color. The living room, hall and bathroom is a medium beige. The dining room and office is apricot. The kitchen is blue and white, the spare room is hunter green and beige. The guy at the paint store asked of the house belonged to a mariachi band.

Watered this morning and cleaned the little's pen. Went fishing and caught some enormous trout! We threw them all back, we wanted perch and bluegill, and I haven't got a smoker yet. After we got home I found the 30 1 gallon pots had arrived so I up-potted the last 25 assorted tomatoes I'm nursing along till I have more garden space. I ordered the fencing for the run extension, now I need to pick up the t-posts and make the access door. It's threatening rain right now but it's most likely just a tease. Loving the pics everyone, especially that sweet mama and chicks pic @TJAnonymous! She must have left the dead mouse there as a warning to any others. :)

Ok....today is a day full of surprises. My oldest daughter just called me and said they found a stray domesticated rabbit at the co-op where she boards her horse. Looks like someone dumped it. Poor thing is starving and looking for attention. No one was willing to take it so I am going to drive over there and pick it up.

I had a rabbit once many years ago. Not sure what I"m going to DO with this poor fella...but I won't leave it out there to die.

Just finished making eggplant parmesan with store bought eggplant and tomatoes. Hopefully next time I can use my own !
