Just some harvesting today. The police are hunting a guy from a car chase in our area so I’m limiting my time away from the house today. I got my first tomatoes and cukes though!View attachment 2721271View attachment 2721272

What type of cucumber is that? Looks like the size of the lemon cucumber but green instead of yellow.

It looks root bound of course, but otherwise healthy. Rosemary likes to grow in rocky areas with poor soil in nature to my understanding. I doubt this root bound plant is hurt much. Plant it in the garden in a raised bed where the soil will drain well or pop it into a larger pot with soil and holes for drainage. It will do just fine. That's a tough plant.

I agree, but would also loosen some of the roots so they spread out as they grow. Love rosemary! Mine needs a little water and probably an up-pot soon. It looks a little dry.

I just watered and moved some containers around. Didn't see as many pests, but I did see some munched on leaves and found and fed 2 small black caterpillars with white lines on them to my chickens. No gloves...

I've gone over and beyond trying to get the blueberries to work. I made raised beds because the soil here is always too alkaline. I mixed in a huge bag of peat moss, peat humus, compost, pine needles, and layered the top with about 4-6 inches of pine bark mulch. That's not including the sulphur and fertilizer I added separately and continuously. Mine were doing really well until this last bout of rain. Then the chlorosis started. I thought maybe some of the sulphur and fertilizer had washed out from the heavy rain, plus it had been a month since I fertilized/added sulphur so I added more. I think this time I added too much and burned the roots? I've lost one bush completely. Another looks like this...

The other 5 are still chloritic but are also starting to get the dying leaves just like the first two. Pretty sure all of them are going to die and I'm not sure how to save them. I wish I could call a plant doctor like I call a vet.....

Any tips on helping this poor Rosemary?? Took 5 minutes to get the thing out of the pot

First Alaska fish fertilizer on the blueberries fast..
Second the rosemarry looks great use a knife or such to cut down loosen the roots .. re pot

I forgot to ask, what the heck is this bug? I found it on a potato leaf. I then have it a good flick with my finger because it doesn't look like something I want around.
