What did you do in the garden today?

You used a box cutter to cut out the upper rim???? Latex paint? Spray paint for the base??? Details please!!!

The tire was off the rim already. I just cut a circle around the side wall. Then flipped it over and cut the other sidewall. It is easy to cut if you stay out of the steel belts. I then washed it to get rid of the oil and spray painted it with Krylon Max. It was easy. We then used acrylic paint and brushes to make the designs

Planted onions, garlic, peas, and a few flowers in the son's town garden. My brother sent 4 semi dwarf apple trees to be planted out here, so will be planting some trees this week, I guess. They are quite large!

We planted some fruit trees a couple years ago. They were abt. 5' then have grown 2'. Hoping for some fruit soon.
I also planted my 5 American plum trees and they are sprouting some leaves.
I am going to try to get some herbs planted today.

It's such a lovely day today! The bb and I are going to be in the backyard after breakfast; I need to measure the entire perimeter of the garden I dug yesterday, and then I'm going to dig up about two inches of the soil that's already there and lay down some manure and peat moss to mix into the soil. I'm hoping to plant my bulbs really soon!
