What did you do in the garden today?

OH and Suebys' post just reminded me. These aren't my alpaca blend ones. These are 80 cotton and 20 super-super washed wool, ba-ba sheep wool. That said, she and I are rabidly allergic to wool, I mean crazy allergic, and didn't have problems with them at all, and they aren't itchy. So there is your public service announcement. LOL.
They are thick and fluffy and yummy things.

NO pattern. I just make them. They're ultra warm because they are made with alpaca fleece.
I do that often 🤣
I'll pop down to the shop tomorrow for you and get photos.
Yes please 🤗. Do you remember how much yarn it took? I had been wanting to but some of your fleece but time got away from me. I would love to either buy a finished one or the yarn to make my own.

You're right! You sent me a sample to sleep with, lol, & all was good.

RIGHT! And you slept with it on your pillow and didn't die. LOL. So BONUS!

My yarn is done in sport weight adn 100 % alpaca.
These are 80/20 cotton wool bulkly weight and I can't remember how many grams it took off the top of my head. I could weigh them for you though and measure.
Just got home, cleaned henhouse, and showered now feel like what I scraped out of the henhouse.
Sinus' just unloaded into my gut. UGH.
Was going to go out and work in the garden and put the hip rail up on the hoop house. Now I could care less.

I am going to chop some more scrap wood and clear my garden area. there is a piece of enclosed run in the corner left after I rehomed ducks and geese. I hope to clear it these days. there are a few pallets and a big piece of corrugated roof that I don't know where to put. I am considering to make a new coop first so that I can use those extra things. no real gardening as we expect bad weather by the end of this week.

Had to.go to. prompt care yesterday . Gum infection . Antibiotics prescribed . Storm coming Tuesday night through Thursday . 8 inches of snow possible .
Today I’m seeing estimates that we will get a foot and a half or more. That is what the NOAA forecast states for here. Other maps say it will barely miss us, or that we will get only 5-8”. So, by tonight we should have a much clearer idea of what is most likely.

Yes!! Right about now the models are all over the place. We will get precipitation of some sort, but exactly how much, and what type is all over the board. For example, 14” on Thursday according to NWS at 7 am this morning. At 9am it was instead rain, then sleet and some snow, and not 14”. So, by Tuesday morning I’ll guess we have *maybe* a better idea. Yesterday I went to see if more snow shovels in stock and de-icer. 3stores-nearly all sold out. I bought 2 basic shovels to add to our snow shovel stash, and some de-icer since spouse has to be traveling to work during the storm.
