Yes. I also dehydrate.Great, thank you. So if you're only getting one you should go for pressure?
Also, does anyone dehydrate?

Not sure if it makes a difference, but my raspberries have shown no signs of life yet. Half of them are well established (2+ years). This will be Year 2 for the 2nd half. My blueberries, chokeberries, peach trees, and roses are just starting to bud. Blackberries that I just planted are also budding and coming alive. My established blackberries still look really "dark." Not any new growth on them yet. Haven't checked the bigger apple trees yet, but the small starts that are about to enter Year 2 are starting to bud out a little.Right about now I'm very grateful DH's company pays for his gas.
I watered the garden thoroughly. My raspberries and blackberries have yet to show signs of life. I'm not sure when exactly I should expect that, if it's going to happen. If they don't come back I'll be taking Stark Bros up on their credit policy.
Garlic are super happy. I think every clove I planted has come up at this point. Every time we hit below freezing I'd see a few more poking up through the mulch a couple of days later. I've been very happy thus far with this second generation. We'll see how well it produces about the end of July.
Through all the freezes and all the frosts, all the way down to 9F.... The spinach and the collards have not looked bad at all. They haven't grown much! But neither did they die. The kale died back pretty heavily but is trying to come back. I'm leaving it for now until I get the low rows in and planted up.
So I've stuck sugar snap peas, bush beans, two tomato varieties, radishes, and more carrots in the ground so far. It's all a giant experiment. We'll see how it goes. So far nothing has sprouted but it's only been two days with overnight freezes.
That's good to know I'll have to look for that. There's also a thread on the gardening forum called Preserving your Harvest
Great, thanks. I am now watching this
That's helpful though. I had noticed the stem of the blueberry I planted looks pretty green, so I think it at least made it all right. Not sure if it makes a difference, but my raspberries have shown no signs of life yet. So essentially a mixed bag....
