What did you do in the garden today?

I think I need to move my raspberry bushes. I wasnt thinking about the fact they would grow towards the sun. 🤦‍♂️
They got placed inside the fence to protect the fruit from chickens and deer, but it makes the path unusable. Not sure if I should just move them behind the fence there, or to the opposite outer fence line.

Please ignore the lack of clean up. Last year sucked.

Hey, thank you for the thread! I just went to a local canning class and just bought a pressure canner. I need this info!!!! Thank you
Welcome to the Gardeners thread. Nice to place your location in your profile easier to answer questions.

Not sure if it makes a difference, but my raspberries have shown no signs of life yet. Half of them are well established (2+ years). This will be Year 2 for the 2nd half. My blueberries, chokeberries, peach trees, and roses are just starting to bud. Blackberries that I just planted are also budding and coming alive. My established blackberries still look really "dark." Not any new growth on them yet. Haven't checked the bigger apple trees yet, but the small starts that are about to enter Year 2 are starting to bud out a little.

So essentially a mixed bag....
Mine are the last thing to bud out, so I think there's still hope.

Man I so hate my glass top, it constantly has to be cleaned with a special polish or it looks awful. And yeah, glass so breakable.
Agreed! I'm so scared I'll break it with the way my hands are so weak right now - I'm petrified I'll drop something on it because I'm constantly dropping things! I so wish I had propane!
Also, does anyone dehydrate?
I dehydrate. Mostly jerky & summer squash or cucumber chips (my fave) in the summer. I think I'd like to try pickle chips this summer, here's hoping for redic amounts of cukes!

I have a turkey carcass boiling away for soup tomorrow & a pork butt in the crock for lunches for DH. Cleaning out that freezer. :gig
