What did you do in the garden today?

Been cleaning out the workshop today filling the new shelf and putting like things with like things in their proper spot all over. How I let the shop get such a disaster is beyond me. It is totally against my ways, disorder that is. But it does.
3 hours of moving and sorting and I'm no where close to done, but I had to shower before luncheon. So much mouse ick out there.
Watered the hoophouse really quick, vole is coming in at night. I'll trap him tonight. So far he's just eating sunflower seeds that are coming up from deep under the soil from last summer. But he won't stop there, so he must go.
Besides a quick watering in the seed shack, that's all the gardening for the day. Oh, I must get the fan going on those seedlings. ::Note to self::

Isn't it amazing how those handles just snap clean off at the tool head? You CAN go get a new handle and just nail it back in and not have to get an entire new tool in most cases, save a few dollars that way.

Not worth the time trying to get the wood out of the fork. Not for this $5 garage sale one.

Yup! I buried right up to them (the plants were only about an inch tall then.) They’ve gone crazy since then!
Cotyledons are the seed leaves, not true leaves.. next time you water them, pop one out of the pot and check the roots.. take a picture.. I like to see the roots as much as the tops.. when you plant in ground take bottom two branches off and cotyledons and bury it deep, just the very top sticking out.. they will love you for it..

My Nemisis. To you this round goes. But. I WILL PREVAIL! The war will be Won. . . .
Someday. . . . .
