Sunshine is leaking through the clouds!

I just got a real score. My neighbor found a source of bunny poop. 50 lbs bags for $10. She got 4 and sold me one. I really need some fast help for the tomatoes, peppers, asparagus, and a few other things this year. I'm going to have a lot of my own compost too. This stuff can go on now.

Probably well worth it just to have a pair of pet bunnies. They will produce quite a bit of berries in a year.

Yall please forgive me...I know, or could have sworn I asked n yall answered but I cannot find it anywhere by searching!
How often do yall water your gardens (newly seeded and small plants) this time of the year?
And do you do it in the morning or at night?

Never at night.
I feel the soil period. You don't want to invite fungus, but you do want a steady moisture. Wind, sun, and humidity in the air all effect how often you water, so shove your finger in there. If it's dry, water. I also water at ground level and try not to dampen leaves.

What? You mean I could be SELLING the buns poo? Right now I'm just dumping it into a separate compost pile from my regular pile. Eventually want to include it but I just haven't gotten around to it. But if I could sell off a bag here and there....

2 bare root apple trees came in from Cummins today. Hopefully I can get them planted and staked up this weekend.

FINALLY got my fruit trees, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, grapes, and roses all sprayed with Bonide. The fruit trees (apple and peach) all looked great. The strawberries looked like they were getting leaf spot or something. Last year they picked up some kind of nasty fungus, virus, and or bacteria which completely wiped out my AllStar and Quinault varieties and all but ONE plant of my Marshall and Ozark Beauty varieties. So I will be sure to watch them closely! I bought more AllStar and Sparkle varieties this year. Something also did a number on my raspberries last year too. Maybe the same fungus or whatever as the strawberries. Not sure. They are just now starting to bud out and I feel they look funny. Like really yellow... I fertilized them yesterday with Stark brothers raspberry food. Going to keep an eye on them and see if they green up. DH built me another raised bed for more raspberries. Got 5 canes of a pink raspberry variety from Stark Brothers. Just gotta get the dirt in it to plant. Might try to do that this weekend, depending on how heavy it rains.
