What did you do in the garden today?

Here's my little starter garden

Tomatoes with a row of lettuce seeds in the front. And marigolds for bug control.

Blueberry bushes. Haven't decided where I'm going to out them yet.

And last but not least, a pickling cuc (will probably need to find a new spot) and rosemary

Good morning gardeners. Today is the big gardening day. Frost is finally over so I can finally clear out my sun room. Yesterday I helped DD set up a fence around her garden space. It's really nice and peaceful there. The community garden there is set within a conservation area. While we there we saw a young doe and a young wild turkey. The downside are the black flies. Wow, I couldn't believe how bad they were. I finally caved and used the bug repellent. But not before I got quite a few bites on my face and neck. I had planned on watering yesterday but when I unrolled the hoses I found a crack in one of them. A new hose is on the shopping list. I have been putting my seedlings out for the past several days and they spent the entire night outside last night. So with the warm temps coming (it's already 64F right now at 10 am) I'm putting as much in the ground as I can do today and tomorrow. I want to water everything first so the ground is wet when I plant the starts. Also I need to be prepared for the temperature spike on Saturday which could be over 80F. My kale is looking very good and the first planting of carrots is definitely coming up strong. Oh, and yes @Sueby I am planting okra again. I'm also trying eggplant this year. That will be the first time with this garden. I have grown it in containers years ago at another house. Looking forward to seeing how it does here in the ground. Have a great day everyone and happy planting.

9am and already feels like 83.
you can feel the storms brewing
Spent an hour and a half in the garden and greenhouse and up potting. I had to come in and grab a snack and water. (and more pots from the seed shed)
May as well shower and get dressed in real clothes. (garden AND market acceptable) I've been working in my jammies all day.
