Only if you trust the farmer. I've caught our farmer's market vendors selling Costco/Sam's Produce and flowers as well as stuffed just plain shipped in from out of state to take advantage of the allure and high prices of farmer's markets.I put those small cheap wire tomato cages around mine and when I run out of those (I just did) I do stake them up. We get a lot of wind here so it isn't really a question.
Aren't hognose snakes the one that roll over and play dead? And if you turn them upright they roll over again to PROVE they're dead?

Oooo, have you always grown watercress? Are there any tricks? DP is planning on growing watercress in her bog filter pond. It grows wild here but I haven't seen any for years.
