What did you do in the garden today?

Yall i posted this in the baker thread but thought I'd check with yall too...

.....Hey yall...got a 25 lb. box of peaches to can and freeze...problem now is we have covid!
How long will they last before I have to do something with em?
I don't want em to go bad!
If they won't make it til weekend, then what is the least intensive method of preserving them til I can do the stuff I wanted with em like canning peach salsa and peach pie filling.

Tried that but I'd go through a dozen sticky rollers just to do a single blanket. I have a large fleece blanket that I'm trying to clean. I also have 2 recliner covers and 1 sofa cover.

Maybe I just need a hairless dog.... 😂
Packing tape. Cheaper than sticky rollers. Might try one of those old-fashioned velvet lint brushes too.

I'm on my 3rd one in 3 yrs... Can't say much on longevity but the Instant Pot has become a necessity in our house.
Do you use it that much or should you be looking at a different brand? I'm no fan of appliances that need replacing every year!

Sorry about the Covid Gamma, we got it about a month ago. Wasn't terrible and I credit the 3 vaccines I had. DW had 4 since she has had RA for something over 20 years and has been on immune suppressing drugs almost that long. I hope you have a mild case and are back up and kicking soon!

I LOVE my Instant Pot. So much so that I have two. The 6 qt and the 8qt. I use the 6 way more, but the 8 is what I need when I make bone broth or want to cook a bunch of beans or a whole chicken.

I also got the air fryer lid for the 6 qt. We use that a lot for potatoes. And we will probably be using it even more, because I think we're going to have a LOT of potatoes. :)

I made lentil soup today, and it is fantastic.
Thanks Sally, I appreciate your input. My old one is a Nesco and at least ten years old. I use it for a lot of stuff and it’s so much better than the oven or stove top during the summer. I love to make risotto with it but haven’t made beans yet.
