What did you do in the garden today?

High of 52 today, 31 tonight. We'll be a pinch cooler, we always are. I need to do freeze prep as soon as the baby wakes up (My lap is the primary nap location). Going to pull all the green tomatoes I can find and bring them in, throw some hay on the asparagus patch, see if the last watermelon is ready or not, secure the frost cover, and give the cats a little extra food. Will be dripping faucets tonight too.

I used the green tomato and tomatilla to make a green sauce.

Took all day, but we finally made it to 33'.
12 tonight.
I put a giant mum in the run to entertain the birds and let them peck at something.

I will get those papers but I might need a lawyer to help me with this office. they gave me unofficial papers of my house before I did some works. they are telling fairy tales to the real estate agent as well. we shall see on monday.

We got a very light dusting of snow last night. It melted most everywhere except a few low pockets. I have so much to do today. I need to get the peppers out of the ground asap. I covered them last night to protect them from the weather. The ground is still warm so they should be OK... I also need to get De-icers out for the animals and finish this (bleep) duck coop. It's about 90% done. So close and yet so far away....

Flakes are flying here as well this morning.
I really need to get out and do something that is not home fix-it/reorganization/ranch related. I'm going to go squirrely and it's only early November.

Yesterday, shortly after I posted, I received word that my Dad passed away suddenly. They think it was a clot in his lung. Thank you all, for all the well wishes that you sent my way. Really means a lot. I may not be on much for a while. There's a lot to do.
