I wonder if I could make that cherry jam with sour cherries... ?

We're not to the bud swell stage yet. Really hoping they hold off for a month. The peach trees are at bud swell. I'm praying that we don't get an unexpected freeze that kills off any chance of peaches this year.
My gut says it's going to freeze at some point in the next 4 - 5 weeks. The weather has simply been so wonky this year. Oh well, I'll expect it to freeze and hope for the best. My trees are still small...under 7 ft. Maybe I can cover them with a tarp or something as a last resort. We're not to the bud swell stage yet. Really hoping they hold off for a month.
I'll be nervous from when I see them swell till Memorial Day!
I got gravel down in the greenhouse finally. I wanted black smooth stones, but settled for river rock worth brown tones because it was $3.99/bag. I used 14 bags (7 cubic feet), and the gravel beds are filled perfectly. No pics, sorry. I need to rinse the gravel off just, and then the floor is nearly finished - just need to put the polymer sand in in the pavers after cleaning up everything first.
The greenhouse still drops to pretty cold at night, but I'm hopefully I'll be able to get plants in there by the start of April. I'll save power on the grow lights, so if I have to run a small heater it shouldn't cost much more than running the grow lights and heat mats - maybe I could get away with just the heat mats even, keeping the soil warm.
