What did you do in the garden today?

I have a question:
My bunny has 100% recycled paper pellets in her litter box where she goes to the bathroom.
Can I put that straight into my garden after her litter box is full? Or is that not a good idea?

Rabbit manure can be applied directly to your garden. That's one advantage of rabbit manure over chicken manure which needs to age and "cool off" before you can use it in the garden. I think it is a great idea to spread out the paper pellets and rabbit manure in the garden to give lots of plants a nice boost.

It's been 6 months since my brother died. His boys are having a really tough time, I'm sure the little girls are too but how would I know. One is on antidepressants. I'm not really happy about that because I was on them for years and they never helped me.
My faith healed me.

Sorry to hear that your family is having a tough time with the death or your brother. Personally, I see the grieving process as a healthy response to a tragic death. But I know it can knock some people down too far for them to cope on their own.

I worked in an adult Mental Health hospital for a number of years. I saw people who benefited from medications, others who relied on faith, and most that needed a combination of approaches. My bias is maybe towards less medication, but I cannot deny that some of my patients only got better only with the help of meds. Each person has to be treated individually.

I hope your family gets the care they need and can recover from their loss. Best wishes.

Forgot to mention, I saw plant clips at Dollar Tree yesterday. I got several bags for berry and grape vines.

Good afternoon gardeners. It took me awhile to catch up. The snow is melting slow enough to not overwhelm the sump pump. The latest drama is the weight of snow and ice was too much for one of the beams holding up the roof on the chicken run. I’ve been working on clearing the roof of ice and snow and put support posts to keep that beam from totally failing. Getting worn out. I’m behind in starting more seeds and I seriously need to up pot my leeks. I finally got the laundry finished that was postponed because of the power outage. I got regular seed potatoes but I’m still looking for a good variety of fingerling potatoes. I had to run an errand today which helped. The drive takes me past a winery. I got a good look at their vine set up so that helps me figure how to do mine. I’m so hoping the tree cutters come back soon to finish and clean up the debris. Oh, and just 10 to 15 miles south of me is totally clear. No snow and green grass. I’m sort if jealous. Lol!
