What did you do in the garden today?

That's crazy, barely any difference between the two carts except the inserts for side panels. If you wanted side panels, you could easily design something that would fit your own cart, and make it out of pallet wood. Probably hold up better than whatever Gorilla charges for their special side panels they want you to buy for their cart.

Nice! Those look so comfortable.

Friendly's Ice Cream!!! That was my go-to place for lunch in college. They had inexpensive but good and generous helpings for lunches, plus it was right by the bus stop I took to my afternoon classes. Are those still around?
Remember the watermelon sherbet roll with watermelon sherbet with chocolate chip seeds and the lemon lime rind?

Oh yes. Garden--I have been in a friend's garden. I counted butterflies. How many? 0, thanks to Monsanto. 0 bees too.
:duc Want to really cuss at me? Just say, Monsanto! Want to tone it down? Drop the f-bomb.

We have a bee hive, and I've planted a bunch of flowers on one side of my garden for the bees. (Ok, also so that I don't have to weed over there.) Lots and lots of bumble bees this year! I saw a lot of our bees on the asparagus flowers.

The goldenrod is just starting to bloom. I used to not like it. Very invasive and hard to get rid of. Now I love it because the bees love it. We have about 3-4 acres of the stuff. You go, girls!

We have just a few bees this year and I’m usually finding them at the water rather than the flowers on the shrubs. Poor things. I have water buckets all around the backyard for all the critters. I’ve seen the lizards in the shade garden in a pie plate I filled with pebbles too.

Thank you for putting out water. I didn't realize that bees need a water source, though it surely makes sense. I have a chicken waterer out near the hive for them. We're on a river, so I don't know if they use it that much.

Good morning gardeners. I woke up to what I thought was some jerk outside with their radio turned up louder than necessary; put my ears on and it was thunder. Went outside and watched the lightning run through the clouds, but no rain for us so I’m watering. We have a chance for rain over the weekend, but since it always goes around I’m not taking any chances. Today I’m researching how to attach a gate to the new garden area. I’m using metal stakes to hold up the fencing, and Igor is frustrated with my insistence on that point. Oh well, we’ll figure it out.

The river helps I’m sure! Our game and fish department has a water program for wild animals and other creatures in areas of the state that are struggling due to drought. I donate to that every year. Everyone always thinks about humans, but we need the creatures for a healthy environment.

Can't say I remember that, I'm more of a coffee/vanilla/nuts ice cream person. But that sounds delicious and it wouldn't surprise me they had something like that, they had so many original concoctions!
