What did you do in the garden today?

I love reading about gardening the world over! We put up our greenhouse two days ago and spent last night praying everything comes through with the first big freeze. It was 22° last night. Brr. Bet all my maters are dead dead dead now.

Woo-Hoo! Thanks so much! I'm going to have to try this with my next batch of parsley. I do know about the ABV being rather high on these homemade wines as my grandfather's wine would knock your socks off!

We had our first hard freeze last night, got down to the mid 20's so that is the end of all the summer plants that were still going. Usually the fall garden will make it until mid Dec. but it looks like it's going to be colder than normal this year. But on a good note a couple seed catalogs came in the mail yesterday so bring on spring!

Put the final layer of straw and mulch on potatoes (foreground in old tyres)

Tidied up the grape vines, tucking them INSIDE the boundary as the kangaroos eat them

Put some straw under some courgettes that are almost ready
