What did you do in the garden today?

Well, my sharpie marker on the popsicle stick faded to the point out in the sun and rain where I could not read it. I don't care if I have to make new labels every year, but I would like my plant labels to last the entire growing season at a minimum.
Popsicle stick would fade. It was on blue painters tape that I could still read the label in sharpie.

Had mushroom in my omelet. DW will only eat button mushrooms and morels. So she passed on my mushrooms.

I put them in an omelet. They must be used quickly or they go bad. An inky cap species.
Morels are the best mushroom around if you can find them. Dipped in egg wash, flour, and deep fried in butter. MMMmmmm!

Tomorrow, I'll clean the potatoes that are on the porch. Exfoliating gloves are GREAT for cleaning the dirt off root vegetables. Then I plan to dig another batch of taters to take their turn.

Still waiting for the bean plants to dry and the beans to ripen! I want to save the seeds and see if I can do that with Dragon Tongue beans. Those are by far my favorite bean. Tastiest and most productive.
