What did you do in the garden today?

@TJAnonymous could your chickens have worms or some other parasite? I’ve heard that will slow them down on egg laying. 🤷‍♀️
Mine are giving me 1 a day now if I’m lucky. 😞
I actually had to go buys eggs for the first time in over a decade. 😳

Hubby and I took 4 grandkids and 6 adults ( including us) to a Japanese steak house where they cook at your table. Out of the 10 of us, there were 5 people with November birthdays!
That looks really nice! When I went to Virginia I was treated to Kanpai and it was very eye opening. Great food and loved taking back a big chunk of it to mung on the next day. I suppose if I ventured into Northbridge I might be able to find a similar restaurant but traversing the CBD triggers my PTSD.

Plastics, for example, might be recyclable, but certainly not compostable. But when it comes to paper products, I wonder if recyclable and compostable mean the same thing. At any rate, I would hope that we move to making all paper products compostable as well as recyclable.
I meant in your case I would not use it in my compost. Since you’re unable to find info, it says recyclable but I wouldn’t compost it.

It looks like you all were having fun. You have a beautiful family Karen!

Sunny and a high of 58. I have a few turnips and Daikon radishes still growing but not big enough yet. I was disappointed with the turnip germination. I think the bulk seed they sold was old. I did not plant many Daikon radish seed as I do not use a lot. Brought a bucket of walnut into the basement to dry. I need to bring the rest of then in before the squirrels get them. Getting a EKG this morning.

Unfortunately , not so much for me any more. 😞

I thought I recently came across an America’s test kitchen video where they reviewed a bunch of gadgets for removing corn kernels. Let me see if I can find it. I’ve always used a knife for one-offs, but for major processing that’s not really workable.

I also told her that any reasonable person in the shop would have said 'whoa, this is going to cost a LOT, Maybe I should run this by her and give her a quick call to check before I hit print.'
I was the person who printed that sort of thing. I got to know a lot of the customers' work, and I saw the price on the invoice. I know exactly what you're talking about.

We had a customer who wanted 600 (!) trifold accordian Christmas cards. I BEGGED customer service to do a proof, as this order was going to be expensive. (Most expensive paper we had, expensive style of card, etc, etc.) Nope, didn't need to do a proof, there wasn't time.

They were livid when they laid it out wrong and we "didn't catch it." (That's why you do a proof!)
I worked for a Mom & Pop printing business 40 years ago. We never would have run an order without having a proof signed by the customer. There was always a chance that people would change their minds, and having the customer proofread and approve saved us $$$.
Exactly!!! Or, as above, 6 images laid out on an accordian card. Are you sure you understand how it folds? Are you sure you know which side opens first? We have different styles of fold/opening.
