What did you do in the garden today?

I finally got my seed starting table set up. I had to rearrange the rosemary plant and the lime tree. I'll be starting the leeks first. I won't be growing as many this year. I still have a bunch in the freezer. I'm happy the snow and ice is melting slow. It gives the sump pump a little bit of a rest. Good to hear you are on the mend @Sueby and you will be able to do more gardening this season. We've had enough snow this winter to add a good dose of nitrogen to the soil. I have a lot of compost in the old chicken run I'm looking forward to putting on the garden beds as soon as I can get to them.

Well the storm has finally arrived and I have a feeling I am going to be loading up 2 dogs chickens and rabbits because I will not leave my babies behind. I'm just trying to stay positive and know that I will be ok.
All you can do is have a plan.

Dug up a young redbud tree. It was a big chore for this old man. It was in a bad spot and had to go. I decided to move it rather than kill it.
I brought half a dozen home from NC when we went down there last November. I should think about where to plant them...

Today has been raining all day. I put my big dog on the porch and put the chickens in a big rabbit cage. They don't like going in the coop other than to lay eggs. So they were soaked little babes. I added some bedding for them and gave them food and water. They might have to stay inside for about 2 days.
