What did you do in the garden today?

I dug out the heat mat.
Thats all I got. Too early here to even start my seeds.

I can't get rid of the ants in this house. They are eating the terro bait like it's a buffet, but they just keep coming. It's been weeks, almost a month. I don't even know what to do about it anymore.

Go buy a box of grits. Open it, try not to touch the opening, and sprinkle it in the area you see them. Wait till the next day and sweep up the left over grits. I always have a box ready to go. Also don't let them get wet. The ants will have to drink after eating and the grits swell up and kill the ants.

That's an awesome looking raddish. I'm going to try to get some. Hopefully they will get them in the stores.

Saw them at ACE, Tractor Supply and Home Depot today.

I just finished planting 90 Stuttgarter yellow onion sets/bulbs in my garden. It's a long day onion, so good for growing in my part of the world. I bought the sets at HomeDepot for $3.99. Seems more expensive than last year.
