Wow, spring fever! It's 50+ degrees out there. I need just a little more snow to melt so I can get to my peach tree to prune it.

2 of my easter eggers are back to laying, that's fantastic.

YES spring fever here too
58 degrees! I started pulling out dead stuff from last year !

Spring fever doesn't say it for me considering it's been in the high 60s- low 70s. Today I put up a small fence around the onions and squash plant that are in the sunken garden. Rain is coming back tonight or tomorrow

The replacement is not compacted and is 2cu ft and is $18, so twice the price as ProMix.
Called something like Sunmix Pro #4
It's peat and vermiculite, etc.

I guess I will have to buy the sunshine mix at Lowes. Lowes and Home Depot do not carry pro mix. We broke a record today. 77 all-time high for February. Down to 20 Tuesday night. A wild ride.

We will have record HIGH overnight lows tonight. Low to mid 50s.

High near 70 tomorrow, and then over Tuesday night, a cold front slams through. Thunderstorms tomorrow/tomorrow night, and then snow possible on Wednesday!

Rollercoaster ride, for sure.

I pulled another bucket of weeds for the chickens. I want to keep doing that when it's nice enough out to inspire me to get my gloves dirty. I figure every bucket of weeds slows down the weed invasion that much more.

I've been doing the same the last week or so, and now my raised beds are almost weed free.

Watched the news today and rain will start again on Thursday so got a couple more days of sunshine. Considering taking all of my cool weather seeds out and just spread them out into the garden and call it a day then maybe get back to cleaning my hen den.
