Yesterday 76 this morning 18. It is still winter. Rain and tornadoes missed me. Had wind and 40 MPH gusts today. High of 33. I think I will stay inside today. Need a day of rest anyway.

Can I send you some of mine...@Sueby I’ve ordered high production layers, EE, and some dark brown Leghorns. Totally tempted to get ducks…but I think it’s best to wait and get them next year perhaps.
I've been reading about how much pectin oranges have, and a lot of it is in the skin, which we throw away. So I've been washing the orange before I peel and eat, and drying the skin near the wood stove. I plan to make it into a powder and use it to thicken homemade jam/jelly. I'll let y'all know how it works and how it tastes. My neighbor just brought me a bag of oranges from her yard so I am going to dehydrate the skin and use them to flavor some cakes.
we got some storms, but are decently north of the tornadoes, high winds. It’s very windy today though. Parts of my drive to get chicks were rough with the wind.tornado missed our old Fairborn house by 3/4 of a mile early this morning
Chewed up a shopping center below the house before moving on to an aircraft hanger on the base, the 200 year old trees took a bit of a hit, but haven't heard the rest yet. @Acre4Me
No…human teens add in colorful language we understand.I swear they are worse than teenagers.
Oh, I don't know... I've got a few loud mouths who are clearly giving me a dressing down when I collect eggs every day. The body language speaks volumes even across species...we got some storms, but are decently north of the tornadoes, high winds. It’s very windy today though. Parts of my drive to get chicks were rough with the wind.
