Not sure why, but no owls mess with this skunk, she is mostly white. She visits here every Spring, has some babies under one of my sheds, then the whole group will waddle away together. I see them but I'm grateful I've never smelled them...they've never decided to "cut loose" in my yard. Thank you Ms. Skunkarooni, for the little things in life & your consideration, my nose appreciates it. Lol

Your apple trunk get eaten by deer? Every one of mine have. Irish Spring soap did not deter these deer.

Yup, she is cool. Just checks out my gardening, give me a glance then waddles away, doesn't mind me, chickens, rabbits or 1 friendly vixen...I need to get a photo of everyone just hanging out. I will glance up from gardening & see them, all sitting fairly close to eachother, mesmerized by what I happen to be doing. It's weird, they never bother eachother.

I told DH, after he had a few beers as we were eating shrimp by the firepit..."Hey why don't ya go & call that cute kitty over, see if she wants some shrimp.

"Here, Kitty, Kitty"

It still deters me! I bought 30 bars of Lifeguard and hid my DH's Irish Spring.

I knew what you meant & didn't even catch that typo

We use liquid soaps, they don't scum up the shower as bad as bar soaps do. I really like the Dr. Bronner Lavender. I love Mint or Lemon soaps, too. I've got Lemon at the kitchen sink.

I use a pump foam soap for my hands. But like you, liquid for in the shower. Sensitive skin stuff. Dove, I think. Am on the road right now, so no pic.
