Yes, I will save seed for you. I have plenty. Would you also like walking onions? I have a variety of wild flower seeds and a great variety of dill seed and cilantro/coriander.


You might check for wild purple monarda. It has a lemon scent to the leaves. It has finished bloom here. I have plenty of seed heads if you want some. Butterfly weed (asceclepsis sp) should grow along roadsides too....it has a long root like a carrot.

I will have to look it up to see if i can find a picture so i know what to look for, thanks!

Oh, bee balm and milk weed, i know those! I do not know what color ours are here in the milkweed since i have not seen them bloom . Husband weed whacks them.

I would love some : ). Since both of you like herbs and flowers I'll put together a packet with some of my favorites, like chamomile, calundula, and others. Cap, you're missing out on the milk weed blossoms - they smell heavenly!

Oh heck, i forgot it is Sunday. All the days are the same here. Lumber mill and discount lumber both closed. Ugh. Well, i can work on pulling weeds etc at the build site and get lumber tomorrow.
I would swap seeds, but i have nothing here to swap except purchased seed.

I am afraid we are stuck with hot until September or so. Just take lots of breaks and stay hydrated. 200 gallons of debris picked up off my build site for the chicken coop already today. Husband finished fencing around that space yesterday so i can shut the gates at night. Now he is off to NS. Tomorrow will be pick up materials day unless it rains.
