Someone mentioned petunias which reminded me to start some seed. Old fashioned type light blue and some whites. Growing up they were still some around. Harder to find now. They often reseed.

Yum, that looks good. I have a cast iron Lodge dutch oven I can use for baking.I wonder if that thing is oven proof? Maybe it could be used like a dutch oven for baking bread????

@gtaus , this works just fine for me. Water the seed starting pots and the runoff wicks upward for a day or two. When the tray is dry and the soil mix feels slightly dry on top, I repeat the process. Sometimes, instead of watering from top down I'll pour water into the tray. Simple and next to no cost is the best choice for me.

Ya, the babies are always cute.Yup. I visited an Alpaca farm before I met him, held a baby cria in my arms. Oh the temptation!!! I kinda nixed the idea back then, until I can relocate...30 to 50 acres...would mean more additions to the familyfuzzy, furry & feathered lol
