The peppermint and lavender I order from Bonnie through Home Depot arrived 3 days early. I planted them right away. One of my French Lavender plants in a container that I thought died in all the rain last year is coming back to life and blooming. Everything is finally planted and mulched. All done for the day.

Beautiful out there. Got about half the garden a dose of fish fertilizer, will finish the rest tmrw. My little vacuum works great at sucking up the bugs! Picked some celery to go in chicken salad for dinner. I like growing celery, will do it again next year for sure.

My broody broke a couple days ago, I got the crate all cleaned up & put back in the shed, stopped to check eggs on my way back to the house & opened the nest box to the unmistakable screech of another broody.

Went out today and started watering the garden after I get that done I have to put the hose back in the pool to get it full. I need to water my flower garden in the front side yard. Still have a lot of stuff to do and then I can relax and wait for my husband to get home.

The new weed trimmer line arrived, but I ended up trimming everything except the garden area. Decided to ride the mower and get the grass chopped off the lawn. I'll trim around the raised beds some other time.

Sorry @pennyJo1960, I started making sourdough in 2012. I’ve managed quite well without the bakers thread. I’m a simple baker who bakes to please myself and not others to show off my skills. I have looked at that forum and it’s not for me. I’m glad you enjoy it but it’s just for me. And those of us that support your efforts @cj2024, we’re here where you feel comfortable.

Trip to town after spending hours, upon hours on the mower in 102' heat. Everyone in the area mowed today as a local girl is getting married on her farm and we're trying to make the area look extra nice for her, but OH Sinus' are going insane.

DH needed some bits to fix the ham radio tower.

OC I had to troll the garden center. I picked up some of those peony rings for some of my herb garden residents that are dropping and hogging all the space.

I'll toss some tomato seeds in the vacant spaces while I'm out there with the hoops.

Ya'll have inspired me to start up some local yeast gathered sour dough starter. Enablers. Local bakeries that make sour dough, is too sour for me, if that makes any sense.
