What did you do in the garden today?

Yes, vaulted is nice, I have that now, but the highest peak is not 30 freaking feet. Those steep cathedral angles...were way too much. And ridiculous to paint! Talk about a neck ache. No ladder could reach, we had to set up scaffolding Lol Sorry but a ceiling that tall is more trouble than it's worth.
I get it... Really, I do. We built our last house before this one. In our foyer and breakfast area, our ceilings were 25 ft high. And yes, WE had to paint that ourselves. Also had to use scaffolding... So yeah, I can relate. Our current ceilings are more around a reasonable 12 ft or so... 😂

I harvested squash this morning, and more tomatillos. Fertilized this evening, watered everything as much as I could with my limited time before bed.

Lots more ears coming onto the sweet corn! We may actually get to eat some! Hooray!

It's supposed to start cooling down this week. Hopefully back into the 80's. Everything looks pretty stressed from the 110+. Even today the expected high was 98.... But as usual, it got up to 103. My young bush beans are not happy with this heat. I've lost half of them so far. I'll reseed this weekend.

Good night!

I like the new click clack pup up drains.
We're redoing our bathroom. For our current sink, we eventually just took out the stopper, because it didn't work. Do you have a link/picture of these? I'm not sure what you're talking about, and I really want this project to be a success. In all parts.

I know, I'm asking a lot for everything to go right in this venture.

I'm also sure I'm in for huge sticker shock at the final bill. Especially when hubby has changed his mind about a few things and we'll need an electrician and a plumber to do some work. They aren't cheap.

I don't begrudge them what they make, either! Plumbing... ewww. Electricity... dangerous.

Good morning gardeners. The temperature hit 89F yesterday but at least the humidity wasn’t as bad. Today it’s supposed to reach 91F. High 80’s to 90F for the next 7 to 10 days. I need to pick kale and chard this morning as well as being prepared to pick green beans when I check on them. I need to mow the front yard as well but at least I can use the garden tractor for that. We may get rain sometime today.

This is the line I used. I installed all of the new faucets myself. You can also buy just the drain pop up assembly and replace just the drain if you want. https://www.pfisterfaucets.com/bath...ozmvsDXqtev7jtab039a9VmvLlNIDM1AaAlBsEALw_wcB

YES! Now that's what I'm saying...

Take a look at the heat index.... After a month of triple digits! Thank you Beryl!
