Hahah! This is like making stone soup, but it's a lettuce sandwich. Everyone adds their touch...

A sandwich has to have meat,cheese,or both(preferably) otherwise its a salad in hiding.

I posted this on another thread and I know its off topic a bit. But I have a broody hen that also seems to laying. There is NO way she can be stealing eggs, or others are laying in the box.

Ah, poo.... I forgot to check the rain gauge in the garden to see how much rain we've had the past 2 days... (rain still ongoing...) I got distracted by the peaches on the ground. Picked up a half dozen of them. They were soft so clearly ripe. Looked a bit suspect on the bug damage though so I brought them inside to cut up. All but one was way too damaged for human consumption. I tossed them to the chickens. But I did get to eat part of the remaining one. Very sweet... I wish I could remember what variety it is... I THINK it's a Belle of Georgia? It's got white-ish flesh inside. Yellowish-red outside.

Not a surprise, she'll continue to lay eggs until she locks into hard broodiness and thinks she has enough for a full minion army. How long has she been in prison?

So, how much were the chicken permits and licenses? I mean really, why stop the rape and pillage at construction permits. Theres money to be made DAGBURNIT!

She has been hold up with three eggs for about 5 days now. We marked the three eggs she was sitting on when it was clear to us what was going on, which was 5 days ago. She has been pretty ADAMANT about this for these past 5 days.

Today I tied up the mango branches. I was going to do it yesterday, but apparently we declared war on Iran and had to stay in the shelter the entire day…
