What did you do in the garden today?

I've never heard or tried any of that combination but it sounds :drool

Lol, we pick them at night after a good rain, for fishing, ever done it?
Soo much easier picking them in the garden with nice weed free rows compared to 'hunting' them in the lawn. Used to get hundreds of them in a night when I was younger. My back doesn't care much for it now so I'm happy with a couple dozen and then quit Lol.
I used to fish with my dad a lot when I was a kid (one of my fondest memories). We used to get nightcrawlers after a rain, too. And if it didn't rain, we would run the hose in the same spot for awhile, and lots of worms would come up and then we'd grab 'em! Those were the days!

reminds me need to thaw chicken in my fridge cannot put meat in sink or our one cat steals it
Lol - I know exactly what you mean! Our naughty cat, Ozzy, will definitely get into any meat left out to thaw. If I have to leave meat out, I usually put it inside the oven (turned off, of course), which is about the only place safe from him. Our other cat, Mocha, is a good girl, and never gets into anything.

We are cleaning our Sunroom. I guess IRMA is going to hit us Wensday but it is going to rain here five straight days starting tonight. I was still in Texas when Harvey came up, and hubby said it was bad. So we are going to try and put as many of the Ducks and Turkeys... Expecially the bald ones in the house. Then I am going to work on my Tomato Clones, and start bringing my potted plants in.

Yes, I home school ROFLOL, it should say forage. I am teaching him how to identify mushrooms and funguys. He is 15 but has development issues so he is around 9. He has gotten closer to his age since we moved down to Kentucky. I love home schooling. He gets to live in the house all the time.
