What did you do in the garden today?

it's like the beanstalk. If you climb it, you'll meet a giant. :D
I might be willing to climb it if I can get a goose that lays golden eggs. We could really use some golden eggs!

Reminds me of nightshade though that's a plant not a tree or vine.
I have some growing down by my pond culvert, pretty purple flowers followed by the red berries.
Little blue flowers in the bottom right corner I think might be 'forget me not' ? not sure, don't quite look like pics of them these are tiny, maybe cause they're wild IDK, but I have tons of them growing around the pond and tons of mint.

I think you're right about those small flowers being "forget me nots". I was given a pack of FMN seeds a few years ago, and when they grew, they looked pretty similar to the flowers in your pic. And yes, they are really small flowers like that.

Yesterday I raked more pine needles from the yard and put them around the rest of comfrey plants. Double purpose here as it was wife's birthday and she wanted them cleaned up. Win win. Except for getting the rooster put in the fridge that my neighbor gave me the rest of day was spent on party stuff.
Wild turkeys are out checking the fence line of the garden eating the grass seeds that are in the outside of fence. Hope that satisfies them.

We have a plant i call nightshade that has purple flowers here but has a spiky seed case. We had a very similar plant in TN that had thorns. I always pulled it out there because i was afraid the goats would eat it. I need a picture to show you.
Try googling datura or Jimson weed...
I have a moon plant that has an upright white trumpet flower that opens at night and smells like jasmine. Kids in OKC got sick smoking seeds from the spiny pods thinking it was a hallucinogenic...the county made it illegal to grow them in your yard.
I have them growing in my yard...in the country...in another county. The wild purple variety grows in our back pasture and has a smaller flower with a more spindly growth.
These are not to be confused with the Angel trumpet which has a dangling flower that can be white, yellow or peach colored.

Okay, another mystery plant. This one has red berries.View attachment 1132554 The berries are ripe and falling off the tree. They are oblong, not round.

Rub a leaf between your fingers and see if it has an aromatic, spicy aroma. Looks like spicebush to me, especially since the berries grow along the branches and not as a drupe like dogwoods or viburnums. They grow as a small to medium shrubby tree in your area. We have a lot of that growing in our woods. The female plants have the green oblong berries that turn red about this time. Good native bird food, and the spicebush butterfly caterpillars eat the leaves.

Update...took over about half a trash can of compostables, moved material from my primary composter to the secondary (lots of worm activity!), added my new additions to both and turned. Deep soaked the corn, kale and cucumber. Irrigated everything else Neglected to harvest. Ugh. Came home and fed the ladies and added a couple of grub worms from the composter.

Yes, it is the purple Jimson weed. Is that the stuff that makes horses loco? I need to dig it up so when i get goats they don't eat it.
