What did you do in the garden today?

Until you can't identify the kitchen scraps/everything looks like dirt. OR whenever you feel like it. It really depends on where you want to put it. Anywhere near food crops, you need it to be proper compost. Under some manky shrub, you can let it rot on the ground.

And yes, you should keep watering it. I'm in a dry climate and I spend half my life watering my rubbish.

Thank you! It does seem that way for me too.

By darned, some day i am going to finish this coop and get back in the garden. I got the second pop door installed today and painted some boards for the top of the run. 20170918_165526.jpg

Haven't done much in the garden lately, mainly due to rain, appts., etc.. Sunday I usually do no gardening because I watch football all day.

Been letting the baby chicks (6 weeks old) out of the pen with mama for supervised outings. Most of the outings are short, but Sunday morning I let them out about 8:40, and they didn't go back inside till around 11:00! Luckily I made it in for the game. It's so fun seeing them find all the favorite chicken hang-outs in the yard. They were almost jumping for joy when they discovered the old wood chip pile! I thought they'd never go back inside!
