What did you do in the garden today?

Sounds a lot cheaper than rooting hormone! If you do measure it out someday, I'd love to know how to make your compound, if you're willing to share. Reminds me of the bakers in the "olden days" - they just threw in a pinch or two of this and that, but didn't measure things out. Some of my regular recipes are like that - after awhile, you just know about how much of everything to add. No need to measure.

Exactly how my dad used to do things. All his recipes were well you know, up there. Once he lost up there we could no longer get the pinch of this or that just right to duplicate anything. Many good recipes are toast.
Today I didn't do anything in the garden it's sort of on cruise control right now.
I think I'll try cloning a tomato. Not sure how I'll keep it from freezing.
I did work on the future garden/coop area

we had papa murhys pizza here and darn made my job easy but that is why BF
suggested it early

Pulled pork with some of the salsa I made from all the suggestions everyone made here. Yummy and we had a pumpkin pie not from the garden but homemade none the less.

tomorrow seems to be a day I can do kitchen been running in to auction last two days took my br all there went today to get the money from the sale it is 65 miles round trip

That's quite a drive. I try to stay home all weekend. Sometimes that works.

me also we always seem to be running here and there but brought home 4 polish today so that was fantastic picked up 9 marans the other day 5 died boom so figure straight run chicks may get 6 pullets of 8

So far i still have all 24 chicks i got shipped from Hoover in August!

Going to have to water again today, seems like no rain any time soon. Hope to plant those mums today. Selling the female kitten this afternoon!
