What did you do in the garden today?

My squash were looking good this morning. I have a blossom on one of the acorn squash plants, a second yellow squash starting and male squash blossoms open. I picked more than one handful of revived green beans and a couple of handfuls of black turtle beans. Also picked one chocolate cherry tomato. After breakfast I picked up fallen apple and about 2 dozen peaches. One dozen looks really good and bug free. I took all the early dropped apples and salvaged as much as I could and turned them into chunky applesauce. I had to add lemon juice, salt and a little sugar because they really weren’t all that ripe. But not a total loss. I need to work on the peaches tomorrow. Fortunately they aren’t all ripening at the same time so I can take breaks between batches.
