What did you do in the garden today?

I woke up randomly at 2:30 am and never went back to bed. I was very unproductive in that time. I spent 45 minutes trying to find a protractor so I could do my homework before giving up and watching pepper guru videos on YouTube for 2 hours then taking an hour long shower. Good news is my grow lights and some of my micro dwarf tomato seeds should be getting here today

The weather here cooled into the high 80s. All of SLO county is finally getting a taste of fake fall this week.

Over the weekend I got a lot done. DS and I mowed the grass for the first time since June. It'll need more water but the texture is absolutely fantastic under foot. The bluegrass I've been over seeding with is paying off.

Finally started some of my fall seeds. Cabbage, broccoli, spinach, kohlrabi, kale, romaine lettuce, dill, cilantro, experimental basil succession.

I plan to direct sow carrots, more lettuce and other things but I have to get the beds ready. Worked on that a little bit yesterday but didn't get very far.

Loaded up the freeze dryer with a tray of tomatoes and two trays each of peaches and watermelon. Last tray 50/50 peaches and watermelon.
