What did you do in the garden today?

I use it, but they are in everything! Didn't realize the tomatillo had it also. I have the BT in a big sprayer even .next year it's war! 🤣🤣🤣
I think I read on the label on my bottle that it's only good for something like 12 hours after mixed with water.

Does anyone have a watering wand they really like? Or are they all just disposable junk after two seasons? Mine is an extended version, but I'm still killing my back trying to reach things. It also feels like the water's either coming out in a geyser or a trickle. The control lever is a joke.
Hoselink sell the best wand I ever used. No idea if it's sold there though. I first used one at my aunty's retirement village and found it much better balanced than others I've used. Hoselink wand | good reviews

I’ll search around for it, thank you! :)

Aaargh! Found aphids on my turnip greens, broke out the neem oil. Never had aphids here in all my years of gardening. Thought I was well prepared with a battery powered sprayer I had bought earlier in the year, nope, that durn thing doesn't fit any kind of bottle i have around here. So hand spraying it was, the whole garden, every leaf top and bottom. My poor hands are cramped up, but I got those buggars! I hope. Now I gotta go shopping and find a bottle that sprayer will fit. Maybe next year I really will be well prepared, lol

I'm going to use a couple pounds of onions and shallots and some habanero peppers today making this spicy cranberry salsa recipe. I have three bags of cranberries in the freezer from the 2023 holiday season that I need to use for something.

https://nchfp.uga.edu/how/can/canning-salsa/spicy-cranberry-salsa/

6 cups chopped red onion
4 finely chopped large Serrano peppers*
1½ cups water
1½ cups cider vinegar (5%)
1 tablespoon canning salt
1 1/3 cups sugar
6 tablespoons clover honey
12 cups (2¾ pounds) rinsed, fresh whole cranberries
That sounds amazing!

Hhmm.... Well, I didn't know that. When I mixed it up it worked beautifully. The rest of the sprayer I've been using off n on for couple weeks. Shoot. Good to know for the war I'm raging on them next year!
