Very nice, what is it called? Our similar looking one (meaty, really large) was Homestead but looking at the online descriptions I'd say it was mislabeled.

I’m honestly not sure what it is. I planted a seed from a store bought tomato that was nothing like these ones and this was the result

That is very creative. I never thought to use my old lights to heat the garden.

I wish I could take credit! I saw it on YouTube a while back, a fellow was using them to keep fruit trees warm that were just outside of their normal grow zone.

Often store tomatoes are greenhouse raised. Parthenocarpy is preferred for greenhouse growing. No pollination worries. Still pollination occurs but they do not want to take chances.

Ten day forecast predicts more cold nights near the end of the week. I caved and got some row cover cloth. Might bust out the Christmas lights to put under it too, we’ll see.

I love decorating for xmas, never thought of decorating the garden with Xmas lights though. Now that you've planted that seed in my head, my fall/winter garden will look pretty and have a little extra warmth! Lol (my husband is going to hate you for planting that idea! Ha ha)

We do have a lot right now! Those bloodsuckers and we have those little no see'em bugs that bite also right now. Glad you got your henhouse done. By the time all your siding, deck and roof is all done it's like you have a brand new place! The storms this year have really hit your ranch hard!! Pray you are all done with storm damage!
