What did you do in the garden today?

That was overturned and the NWS offices are fully manned as they are now considered essential safety offices. Due to their nature, they cannot be released by just anyone. The number of releases is now normal, and extra are released in heightened need times.
For an essential safety office, they should hire more competent people.

Surely I'm not the only one who gets an abhorrent aftertaste in my mouth for hours after ingesting anything containing Stevia.

definitely.
I bought a Stevia plant years ago that I have to bring in to overwinter. Thought it would be a good idea to cut back on sugar in my tea and coffee. So I tried brewing the tea with stevia leaves, nope. It was sweet alright, but that taste was enough for me to go cold turkey on the sugar in my coffee and sugar. So now Im healthier drinking black coffee and plain tea and I have a lovely plant that puts out pretty little white flowers. Win/win! Lol

I had a stevia plant. made green tea with stevia leaves and didn't like it. it was sweeter than sugar. summer heat killed the plant.

I have been on a sugar pilgrimage for years now. 😂 Trying to find something that is low glycemic index but also organic. I've tried monks fruit, honey, allulose, stevia, etc... Down the entire list. Either there's an aftertaste or taste issue.... OR they use a chemical process (such as hexane) to extract it.

In the end, I've simply circled back to organic cane sugar. Not ideal... But seems to be the least concerning. I still do use stevia occasionally in coffee or iced tea but not often.

Yeah, I have to keep my plant in shade. It only gets an hour or two of morning sun. Even indoors it doesn't like direct sun, gotta keep it away from the windows.

I bought a bag of stevia powder and yeah, the taste sucks, at least in my morning coffee it did. I should go ahead and throw it in the trash. I decided on organic cane sugar too, plus blackstrap molasses because of both it's flavor and it's high nutrient content.

I like a teaspoon of sugar and a teaspoon of BS molasses in my two or three 12 ounce morning cups of coffee.

A touch of both stevia and another sweetener worked for me. Have to play with amounts until its to your liking.
