What did you do in the garden today?

I'm sitting in a motel room with my husband. He's going back to work tomorrow. I'm going to have to drive home tomorrow alone so I will get on here after I get home.

The other day, I had my 3 young roosters locked up and I let my 4 old hens out of their coop. Later in the evening I went to lock them up again and I notice that one of the hens were missing. I did an all-out search for her in the morning and gave up. I let my 3 young roosters out to help me find her and they didn't find her until the evening. I could hear screaming and when I went out to check, the missing hen jumped into my 300-gallon fish tank to get away from the roosters. I think this one is sitting on some hidden eggs somewhere. The reason why I locked my old hens up was to see if they were still laying. I found eggs in the bushes before, but I couldn't find any this time around.

finally has been raining for a few hours. not much rain but better than nothing.

mountains near me had thick gray fog. glad I didn't buy land there.

I feel rough. Caught a cold from family. Weather has been nice. 55 at night and 70s to low 80s daytime. Flies are terrible.

My daughter who's 5'9" wears size 10. My daughter who's 5'10.5" wears size 8 1/2. Not always a direct correlation. (US sizes)

I'm 5ft 2in . I also wear a women's size 9 1/2 or 10 nowadays. My feet have gotten bigger as I got older. Used to be a 8 USA

Don't accidently water your power strip though. I recently popped a GFCI when I watered my grow lights (the ones below the shelf I was watering). I put electrical tape over the connectors yesterday, I let them dry plenty long... Forgot about them and wound up with leggy seedlings.

You can make an enclosure for your power strip with a shoe box sized storage box. Just measure your power strip, buy a tote. Cut holes in the box to route your cables. Make a drip loop so water doesn't run down the cable into the box.

For the lights, this was a new problem for me, the electrical tape should help, but it's hard to know until I spill on it. I try not to do that.

I wear a size 10 too. I used to always wear 8 1/2 but then after being pregnant 3 times my shoe size jumped up. I'm 5'7".
