Peppers adore sunshine and heat. Also rich soil with adequate, consistent moisture but not sopping wet.

I got the garlic and multiplier onions treated, soaked, and planted yesterday.

Peppers don’t like it consistently over ~90°f. In more tropical and hot places 25-40% shade cloth can be beneficial.

Speaking of waterers, does anyone use those little cups for their flock? I was thinking of installing a few. It certainly would make it easier for whomever watches over my animals while I always seem to be gone for weeks at a time. I just don't know if I trust them to work properly and not stay open and run for days.

They're useless in the winter here. I prefer a large open hog pan. I can easily see how empty it's getting and it's easy to fill and clean.

No, I only learned of this treatment for garlic last year. So this is my second time. First time that I've done it on the multiplier onions.
