So i got the potted plants in the ground, mixed cow manure, bunny poop, sand , and clay soil to plant them in. Also some bulbs my friend sent me. Still have to plant the hollies and some other bushes.

If you look at the right of the tree, you can see how big the poison ivy vines get around here!

They are all over the place here. I had husband chop the vines .

A odd shaped cucumber . Poor pollination is my guess . Seeds in the lower bulge and none in the neck .

It's a cucumber dressed for Halloween as a gourd!

Moved some blocks and an old gate out to the yard and made a small shelter for the chickens. Took down the little coop and moved the "run" to another area. It's partially covered with shade cloth and provides pass through via two doors. Moved the wire dog crate into the big coop and moved some rocks out of the chicken yard; more of those to move. Also moved some big chunks of tree trunk around the yard. Took down the sunbrella until next year. Dumped the bedding from the chicks into the compost pile.
Raked the entire backyard and put the poop in the compost too.
Tomorrow I'll do the patio, have a few things to put in the shed too. Going to pull up the wire fence around the apple tree and put some bricks there instead.
I must say the morning was quite peaceful without the roo. I sat at the picnic table with my morning coffee before chores and the girls came to visit.

Nothing new in the garden, just building coop as usual.
Getting close to finishing, you can see the roof on the ground. But i had to split it in half to get it up on top by myself. ( hubby has busted ribs) So it is not all up yet. Tomorrow is supposed to rain so i will probably clean up inside the house, and maybe finish the cat scratch tower.
