What did you do in the garden today?

yesterday i transplanted my tomato seedlings to peat pots. Today i transplanted my jalapenos to regular pots i grow them in. Got half the garden tilled and then the tiller wouldn't start back up. So hopefully i can get it running and finish up tomorrow.

Miraclegro Potting Soil for seedlings?

Hi,
I have a big bag of that Miraclegro Potting Soil that feeds for 6 months.
Can I use it in my greenhouse to plant seeds in? They will be veggies and herbs.
Thanks for the help!
Best Regards,

thats what i use. not for planting seeds but for transplanting plants to either a container or or a peat planter to plant later.

It's all I have right now. Is using it a complete DQ or will it work for starting seeds?
Thanks,
aren
They have a seed starter soil that I tried for the first time this year. However, I got a less than 50% success rate. I got better starts when I used the peat pods. I had to start many of my herbs again using the pods. I will give the starter soil one more chance...

Planted some of my trees today before the rain started. Up to 3'' expected over the next 2 days. Possibly some snow Monday night Tuesday morning. It reached 80 yesterday. First time in over 6 months.

I am so sore from yesterday.... I need to get out and improve the temp area for the new girls. It already sounds like the last new girls are getting to know the new girls...sounds like high school all over again... I need to get out and put some plants in the ground; kale, spinach, lettuce's, onions, and herbs. So tired!

I have been lazy but I need to plant more peas, since it appears nothing else is growing...

Just came in from the garden. Raining again. I was looking over my overwintered turnips. Purple top does not usually survive the winter here in zone 5. A few years ago I tried shogun turnips, A white turnip used mostly for the greens but make a edible root. Too strong for my taste but they survive the winter and make seed. I use the flower buds like broccoli raab. Spring planted ones for greens. A very easy crop.
