What did you do in the garden today?

Picked and cooked some Mustard greens (they were so good) and sowed carrot seeds. Also got my tomato plants in the ground this past week-end. There's a chance of frost Wed. night, so I'll have to cover them.

I wish the weather would cooperate so I can be in my garden! PA weather has been all over the place! 75 degrees last Sunday and yesterday we had snow on the ground!

I have at least a hundred seedlings, started indoors, that are patiently waiting to be planted! Tomatoes, peppers, onions, eggplant, kale, marigolds, ginger, an assortment of herbs and tons of "cut" flowers!

Until then i'll be getting the garden soil ready to take all of my seedlings! Can't wait to plant!!!!!

I suggest you put some plastic over your beds and let the sun (when it comes out) bake for a few days and dry out...

I know what you mean... Way out here in California the temps fluctuate between 70 and 85... in a week. lol

Today I planted 8 kale seedlings and the only 4 spinach seedlings out of 12 that grew..... might have to start a backup crop...

Today I inoculated some hardwood with oyster and shiitake spawn and got some patches tilled up for some radishes. We are still in freezing temperatures at night so I have been weeding and clearing out beds like mad. Rhubarb and asparagus shoots are coming up. I had to pull up the mulleins and lambs quarters - I like them but they're taking over! Got my heirloom tomatoes starting in the greenhouse and planted horseradish roots. I'm always leery of purchasing packaged roots but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Lol, the weather sounds harsh over there!

Jealous of your sunshine!
