What did you do in the garden today?

Got tomatoes and banana peppers ready to go in as soon as it dries up some, also got lots of seeds waiting!
Seeds or seedlings are waiting? I would put what you have in the ground (peppers and tomatoes), cover them in plastic so the sun warms them and the cover will keep out any rain for a while....the roots will go crazy in the moist soil....

I use the incubator as a heat source to germinate seeds, even the hard to start hot pepper seeds sprout in a no time there.

Incubators are great seed starters. You can use a old Styrofoam incubator and set the temp you need. Peppers like about 75-80degrees. This year I put a seed flat on top of the furnace. Stays warm but not hot. The top of a refrigerator or water heater works also. For seeds that like cool temps like poppy I use a old dorm refrigerator set to about 50 degrees.

Planted more peas, tomatoes (3different kinds) , peppers (also 3 different types) , by then I was pretty tired! Plus I had to feed and water the animals and worked on the fencing.

Update from the Crazy H-Bar Ranch; I'm typing this update quietly because Mrs. H-Bar had a few last night.....no she's not hungover, but she couldn't pronounce it last night!

So anyway, we got the rest of the tomatoes in the ground today; Romas, Aromas, Beefsteaks, Oregons, Super, and Del. Cherry.

Here's another picture of the zucchini bread plants... I've never had any plants that are this dark green.

Almost every onion set has poked it's stem out into the sun, I hope I don't have to wait long to taste them.
