Sometimes i think my mind is just too busy to sleep. But getting outside and getting air does help. Oh crap, i have another allergic outbreak on my ankle. I am never going to get rid of this curse!

Weeded a little and picked a few tomatos. Checked on my one lonely watermelon then came in to avoid the rain.

Worked today, took a shot at huge ground hog last night, and small one this afternoon. missed both of them. Bought 2 butterfly bushes at Lowes for $1 each. If they don't survive, I'll not have lost too much money on them. Planted one last summer, but it drowned.

I love finding cheap plants at end of season! Awesome find! I hope they make it.

wow and WOW you did have some rain we have not .. had to use the wipers on then van for about 15 minutes in chehalis today but none here at home worse is I have not slept at all layed awake all last night beat today just want to go sleep

I can send you some full rain barrels of you need some fl rain..hehe
H2O is plentiful. My poor goats. Goats hate rain.

Lowe's has all their veggies/herbs etc on clearance. Some are kind of rough looking but a little TLC and goat poo compost, blue ribbon potential.
Seeds are pathetically cheep.

It takes a pineapple plant 2 yrs to produce a fruit. We have 3 apples at the moment. This one I let super ripe on the plant vs countertop ripening. When it starts to go slight yellow. It will be the nectar of the gods.
This one will be sliced on a ham but this coming weekend. There are 2 more on the P.A. plants almost ready
The best part is planting the cut off top into soil and multiplying your number of plants. We started off with 1 plant years ago and now have about 10.
