For now It's all about the coop. Forgot how heavy plywood is. Barebones watering, harvesting in the garden.

Feeder ran out of sugar water for the hummers this morning and i took it down to clean and fill it. They were lined up out there while i was boiling water to sterlize it with. Making annoyed little chattering noises. We have had a steady parade since then. Such amazing birds!

they are my Ma loved the ones that stayed all year long she was very protective of them

Check the underside of the leaves for spider mites....really tiny moving specks with a very fine webbing. They can take over a bed in a hurry. You can spray with Pilorum and soapshield for an organic remedy...really spray the underside of the leaves where the mites are. Malathion works too. As with any spray...follow the directions!!...about when to apply to avoid killing the beneficial bees, etc.

I am going nuts smelling my crock pot aroma right now!!!
Big ole Chuck roast (our Black Angus)
Our carrots.
Our Potatoes.
Our onions.
Our peas.
Our bell peppers.
Our homemade beef stock.
OMG
Store bought celery..
I need more self control. If I keep sampling it, there won't be nothing left for dinner.

Who wants to go in business with me? We can make an Air Freshener Spray Can that smells like Pot Roast!
We will make millions if we can put this smell in a spray can!!!
Look out Fabreeze!! Here comes "Crock-Aroma"!
