What did you do in the garden today?

I like ya'll too! I'll probably be gardening year long, in some form or fashion. I'm setting up a new room to move my indoor growing into, already got some indoor stuff in progress. Our weather here is conducive to cold frames and covered rows year round. Or nearly. I can't get a greenhouse moved out back, but my indoor grow room is even better, in my humble opinion. I'll post pics soon as i get stuff switched over and cleaned up a bit.

Picked yellow and red bell peppers, banana peppers and jalapenos this morning for more soup starter. Just finished another 15 quarts. The elderberries are dripping juice for jelly.

Enjoying a glass of tea before going out to feed the calf. Susie is really growing....could be the 2 gallons of formula, creep feed and Bermuda grass she consumes every day.

I have been collecting the cleome and pink 4 o'clock seeds.

Oh yeah, I forgot not everyone lives in the frozen tundra in the winter like I do. We have in the past used an extra room as a seed-starting room. Not sure what we'll do this year. Yes, please let us see your grow room when ready!

So then, this thread goes on year-round basically?
I keep yapping no matter what!

Ok, i am mad an some varmint is going to die! Husband said he accidentally weed whacked my watermelon plant. So i went to pick beans and cherry tomatoes. Every one of my sunflower plants was chewed off about a foot high and leaves eaten. Leaves and stems eaten off my second batch of peas. Stems chewed off so my pea plants will die. Sweet potato plants lost their leaves. String beans lost their leaves. Some critter chewed the heck out of my garden. It did not eat my tomato plants, but ate some of my lettuce which is too small to harvest. My garden is fenced to 4 feet but a deer could jump in. Husband says not deer because of no tracks. But our soil is pretty hard except where i dug it up. I am ordering a hot box tonight. There may be nothing to protect by the time it gets here. So mad, especially about my peas and sunflowers. I may stay up tonight and see what shows up. I would put the shepherd out there but she is in heat.:he:barnie:duc:mad::smack
