I am pretty use to them all me and benedryl are fast friends always kept a cat wanted my dogs so they would not chase one I have a irritating allergy to cat hair

Found easy to pull unwanted shrubs using a nylon rope and my Chevvy S-10. Dig a little bit around the base of the shrub and drop the noose end around the trunk as low as possible. Start the truck and gently pull if too stubborn just rock it reverse forward you are done.

1 cup borax, add water and mix
1 cup arm and hammer laundry booster
1 cup blue dawn dish detergent.
Fill remainder of gallon jug with water and mix. Shake each time before use.

This is the recipe i use: I do not add any essential oils to it. Usually, a single batch will last a full year. I have a front load washer.

Hubby bought me a stainless steel paint stirrer that will screw into a drill chuck. So, my next batch should be real easy to mix up. I do the mixing outside b/c the soap scent is too strong for my asthma.

I watered the garden and the flowers. Picked cukes, peppers and cherry tomatoes.
Also cut the dogs toe nails and the cats as well. The male kitten purred while i cut his toe nails and his mother yowled while i cut hers.

I love the look oft homemade bar soap, and more importantly, would love to control what ingredients are in the soap we use. I have seriously considered trying to make a lot of our own household products, like soap, shampoo, etc., as well as laundry soap, and other cleaning products. I just never seem to get around to researching how to make stuff. Vinegar is a great natural cleaner to use around the house!

I've made soap for years...spending time tweaking my recipes over the years. There are great soaping threads here on BYC in the hobbies section.
Several years ago I put together an information packet on soap making . Pm me your email address and I will email you the packet. I made my own wooden molds that break down for storage. The instructions for the mold is in the packet. And there is information for where I purchase supplies including food grade lye.
Made 400 bars last year for the family and to use as gifts. I use essential oils for fragrance in the different batches, some with goat milk, aloe juice, honey, some bars are all vegetable fats and some batches include lard or tallow. I use oils like Shea butter, coconut oil, palm oil, caster oil, avacado, etc. I have a recipe for a citrus honey oatmeal bar that the girls love for their faces. Made son in law a batch of soap using the oil from the rendered deer fat from his 12 point buck.
