What did you do in the garden today?

This is part of my indoor garden. It's in the room where the boys sleep (hence the power rangers) and we put some lights in there tonight. They love lights and can hardly wait for ours to go up this weekend.

We're going to putting up our decoration soon too. Feels weird to be digging garden beds in the same week as putting up my holiday decorations. :O

I started decorations today got quite a bit out but 2 or 3 more tubs of decorations not including lights give me one dry day to do the lights please

I just went out to poke the bonfire again and it was sprinkling! So the 20% chance became light rain. The fire doesn't seem bothered by it.

Nah, I don't think he cares, it's more that I really don't care for christmas. I'm terrible I know. He has many fond memories, and a different mentality than I do

I probably have fond memories also because I enjoy decorating not the fun there use to be no small children left that is where the real fun was

We're so far off the beaten path that the only folks seeing our lights would be fly-overs. We put a string of solar lights around the coop and garden since the chickies are our "kids" now. I'm not a big fan of the holiday hype, I guess 30 years in a retail environment killed it for me. I could go the rest of my life without hearing the canned holiday music and all the retail glitz. Tonight, after a cold front came through, it has cooled down into the 30's and a ground fog is nestled into the ravines beautifully accented by the stars and a bright moon. My wife and I sat on the deck looking over the valley and it was so quiet you could hear the deer walking in the leaves down by the creek.
